Reviews:

Yochanan reviewed an Apple TV show called 'Severance' which has 2 seasons
so far. He has finished all 20 episodes and is giddy with excitement over
the show. The series is well-written, the music is borderline creepy &
it's full of nail-biting suspense. He rates it as worth full-price at
least. He 'can't praise the show enough'.

and Yochanan reviewed a play, 'Pericles', which is pay as you
will [& $10 for parking], performed by Santa Cruz Shakespeare as very, very
well done & beautiful, but not for the faint of heart, since it includes
incest, prostitution and murder. He highly recommends it.

and Yochanan reviewed season 4 of 'Love, Death and Robots',
seen on Netflix, as a really good show with many science fiction elements
and a lot of violence. He highly recommends it. Duncan also highly,
highly recommends it and says it is a series that you can jump into at any
point & he doesn't have words to describe how good this show is.

Marc reviewed 'Star Trek, Strange New Worlds' as this episode was really,
really good, full of classic holodeck twists. He loved it and recommends
it highly. Ken followed-on, saying 'yes'. [There was laughter.] Then he
commented about how the mystery was masterfully handled & great fun.
Yochanan also enjoyed the episode & recommends it - and urges watching the
end credits for the out-takes.

Antoine reviewed 'Noor', a book by Nnedi Okorafor involving a sometime
occurring in the future dystopia that he enjoyed reading very much
see = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noor_(novel)

and the rumor of the week was = 'The East Coast 'heat dome' is part of the
new administration's environmental policy of establishing hell on Earth'

we adjourned at = 8:37pm
