  If you want to make SVG fonts ......take a look at the documentation at:
http://xml.apache.org/batik/ttf2svg.html

I think you will find that instruction informative :-)

If you would like to learn more about SVG Fonts....you should check out the 
The SVG Rec at:
http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/fonts.html

SVG Fonts are really cool! ...text will look the same for all ...and the 
text will be searchable and accessible (zoom in and zoom out ) and the 
biggest deal is.......YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN SVG FONT!! :-)

if you have any trouble converting the ttf fonts to SVG please ask for 
help......
