We should mention that animation in Batik 1.5 works but is _very_
slow and involves lots of flicker. I am working on a fix for the
worst of this but I need to talk it over with Stephane.
Generally Batik on Mac OS X works but is perhaps 1/2 as fast as on
an equivilent Windows Box running the same code. I am hopeful that
this will change significantly going forward.
