Oh yes, sorry. I'm having problems with the context of your questions,
so let me answer it like this: Here's the complete list of subpackages
under org.w3c.dom that are now (!) all in xml-apis.jar:
- bootstrap
- css
- events
- html
- ls
- ranges
- stylesheets
- traversal
- views
- xpath

xml-apis-ext.jar would then contain:
- smil
- svg
plus higher up: org.w3c.css.sac

i.e. all that is not already in xml-apis.jar and has to be moved to XML
Commons.
