They're justified - For a beta, it's looking very, very good. > Jim Ley wrote: > > What you are asking for is providing more granularity for b. which > is possible. That's right yes, configurable so that you can under user control (not by default!) get urls from other domains, we're entering a webservices world (buzzwords...) and I want to use webservices on the client, which obviously means third party ones, doing it on the server is a much nastier approach - coping with errors, and updating the browser with progress etc. I only want to use GET webservices* so batik and ASV have everything I need but they just don't let me do it. I could also slurp up in HTML, and use it to draw things (perhaps parse out the links to draw graphs of the relationships between sites - http://jibbering.com/svg/search-links.svg actually does this but there's no way of allowing the security AIUI. ** Cheers, Jim. * For practical more than religous reasons. ** I can proxy through jibbering.com for my use, but couldn't have an open proxy for public use. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
