Batik as an applet

Hi Batik Users,             I was just wondering if anybody had any experience converting Batik to run as an applet in a browser?             What would be involved in performing the conversion?             The requirements that I have state that only limited Batik functionality is needed, like rendering the image in a browser and have zoom in, zoo out, pan functions.             Any help/thoughts greatly appreciated.   Sincerely, Boris A.
