Hi, I'm trying to output "Open Centre Black Star", u282B, but I get a "missing glyph" symbol in Squiggle. I'm running Sun JDK 1.4.2_03 on Linux. Is there a font-family I can specify to make it work, do I need to do something with Java fonts, or is it possible at all?
xfontsel(1) correctly displays the symbol when I select -*-dingbats-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* , so there is at least some font on the system that has this glyph.
