position of text in svg

I want to print the flowline text at certain "x" co-ordianates in SVG.
    I am printing a report , so when some text is bigger in length , rest of the text 
is getting displaced further in the line. 
    
    Is there any way I can specify the x co-ordinates inside <flowline> text content.
