Hi Keith, Mike, I've been writing an essay about support for functional programming in mainstream programming languages, a draft of which is here:

I'm not so sure myself, because I would probably not even mention any functional languages (Haskell, ML, etc.) - it's kind of written for the practicing engineer who happens to barely know what FP is in the first place. What do you all think?
