Since I upgraded from EMACS 19.27 -> 19.29, I've noticed one odd thing
about rmail/bbdb. I seem to keep getting asked if I want to replace a
name (in the bbdb database) with itself. For example, suppose I have a
record with my own name, "Richard Stanton" and email address
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]". If I get another message from myself,
even though the name and email address are identical, the following
happens:
1) I get asked if I want to replace "Richard Stanton" with "Richard
Stanton"
2) If I answer "y", I get asked if I want to keep "Richard Stanton" as
an AKA.
3) If I answer "y", and look at the bbdb entry, it's identical to what
it was before, except that it now has an AKA (which is identical to
the main name).
Has anyone else noticed this?
