I did not take your response as an offense, I am just interested if there is a
better way to add personal (or company specific) letter styles to bbdb.

In my opinion, such a package would more rely on bbdb than on auc-tex. There
is no way to use it without bbdb but auc-tex is not really needed.
In fact, creating latex templates from bbdb entries is just an instance of the
problem (obviously -- my prefered instance). In general, I would be interested
to create arbitrary "export" files from bbdb which can then be loaded into
other systems like auc-tex/Latex, or PC based word processors (I am not really
using such programs, but people keep asking me whether I could share my
address database with them. I also hate typing in addresses which are already
available on a computer, even the syntax/format is wrong).
