Sorry, but It depends on the way in which start call bbdb for vm. In on case my mail
folder gets corrupted (ie I get the ascii view of the
folder, in other words one big fat file, rather than the most recent message). In
other case I would get the VM functionality, but would be
without proper BBDB support (TAB no longer completes; M-x bbdb-complete-name fails; in
some case can't complete, in some cases
only completes to the email address).
If it helped I could create a more detailed log. Shall we do that off-line?
