Right. But somehow, both my window manager and xemacs eat those. This is
potentially made worse by an old X11 keyboard mapping. M-tab (i.e. pressing
Alt Tab) yields an Ispell check (dunno where that one comes from), and
Meta-tab (i.e. Windows-key Tab) cycles open apps on the virtual console I'm
in (courtesy of KDE 2.1's default behavious). One day I'll sit down and clean
up the Alt/Meta/Windowskey inconsitency between the couple of machines I'm
working on...
In any event, bbdb works again and I will look into if a Debian package of
bbdb-2.3 would have worked to or if there was a side effect.
