You can use the canonicalize nets feature, but you'll probably need to
customize it some. There was some discussion about using this to
ignore old addresses recently, so you could use that as a starting
point. I've not used canonicalize nets myself, mind you, so I'm not
even sure how well it works at the moment.

This I can't seem to reproduce. Could you perhaps use
bbdb-submit-bug-report so I can see what settings you have?
