it's not simple maths though. They have to like it at BBSW too, or that's the impression I get. So why didn't you sell them Macs running their Unix software, eh?:-) Could have bundled TextWrangler in, got them sneaking a look at it...before you know it, they want file groups (or whatever BBEdit does that TW doesn't, I forget, I only remember Lite in any detail)... But even if BBEdit had code-folding - the question of why should they pay for it would still be there... I know someone who bought a Compaq to run Linux, she's used Macs and BBEdit under OS 9, liked it, could have had an iBook for the same amount, I showed her TextWrangler. Ultimately she wanted what was most familiar.
