Some browsers think refresh means rewrite the window from the cache.
Find and execute a clear cache command.
11) I go back to the original file in my public-html on my server
and check out the file using the BBEdit view feature and the changes
I have asked for are there but nothing happens.
I would think of that as evidence for caching. It looks as though
something "happened".
I've now been working at this for two days and I'm going bonkers.
Anything you can do to help me solve this problem would be deeply
appreciated.
It's possible that someone else is caching the file. Are there
proxies in the link when you access via the browser?
Thanks very much for your help. It's wonderful to get a response when
you feel like you're out there in the wilderness. I'll go try to find
where the clear cache command it and see if that does the trick. Since
writing you I tried to go to another browser and it happens that my
files are showing up on the other browser so that would seem to mean
that you are spot on.
Thank you very much for your help.

Doug:
I did the clear cache command and that solved the problem.
Thanks again.
You should be now on your way to computer heaven.
