These are "one shot deal" tasks. I build optimized pages for search engines and refer to where the final header, sidebar and footer HTML will be. Then when it is finalized I want to do these global find/ replace to make the pages look the way the rest of the site looks. This allows me to get the SEO going before the site is finished to minimize the time lag of getting a site ranked.
