Hiya,
I have never been able to get my head around the whole GREP syntax
thing and use it sparingly if at all. So I'm never quite sure just
how wacky a search/replace could be done with it.
But I'm a BBEDIT user from way back (and still use it a couple of
hours daily) and need to find out if I can somehow use grep for this
one particular task.
Is it possible to use grep to do the following?
find
<!-- begin header -->
all kinds of HTML here
<!-- end header -->
and replace with
<!-- begin header -->
new HTML here
<!-- end header -->
using the HTML comment tags as the delimiters.
And if the answer is yes, is there anyone who would be nice enough to
list the grep terms to get it to work?
Many thanks for any advice, tips etc. I have the latest version if
that is any help.
