Hi folks,
I use BBEdit 8.5 on a 10.3.9 Mac at home and on a 10.4.? Mac at work.
As far as I know, all the preference settings are identical. When
editing PHP, however, the commenting style is different on each Mac.
The older OS uses C style comments /* like this */
The newer OS uses C++ style comments // like this
Is this OS related (which would seem unlikely yet the only explanation
I can come up with at this point) or is there a setting I can change to
get similar commenting on both machines (which I haven't been able to
find)?
I can't uncomment on one machine comments that were inserted on the
other making it necessary to manually remove the comment code (which is
a real pain).
Am I missing something?
