Anyone using date placeholders might want to watch out for this in 8.5:
The #COMPDATE# placeholder now gives the OS Short Date (eg 20060906 here) rather than the Medium Date-like format generated in 8.2 (eg 6-Sep-06) and shown in the manual and help
#ABBREVDATE# gives the OS medium date rather than the OS Long Date implied in the manual and help.
(#SHORTDATE# and #LONGDATE# give the expected results - the short and full dates from the OS)
It looks like a bug - particularly #COMPDATE# coming up the same as #SHORTDATE# - so I've mailed it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] too.
