I really wish that when i opened more than one file at a time,
bbedit would know to open those files in a drawer. Only when i open
a single file remotely do I want it to go in its own window. Is

Works for me.
I select 2 or more files, hit Command J and the files open in the
same BBEdit Text Window/Drawer. If I then select two additional files
they end up in the same window/drawer.
I'm using 8.5.1b2.
