I'm using 8.2.4 (I know, I know, I will upgrade soon), and I would

I'm sure there is a way, but I didn't see it in the docs - so I'm
probably looking for the wrong term. Does anyone know how to do this?
You want to append them into a single 'document', not get a
drawer with 12 documents for a single window, right? I'd use "cat
file1 file2 ... file12 | bbedit".
