Yes, he problem with LaTeX is that it has no closing tags so there is
little way to indicate where the flod ends. Same issue with markdown I
am affraid.
Well, the end of a \section{} is the next \section{}
Pretty sure I've seen some editor flod LaTeX, but now I can't
remember where.

I find Windows of absolutely no technical interest... Mac OS X is a
rock-solid system that's beautifully designed. I much prefer it to
