Is there any way to use BBEdit via ssh and/or scp, only? The system I'm trying to connect to does not provide [s]ftp access. At the moment, I'm just scp-ing the file to the system after editing. I own Transmit and have downloaded Interarchy, but neither seems able to handle this situation. Any ideas?

BBEdit worksheets can execute scp commands just fine. ssh won't work without an auxiliary Terminal.app session.

If you want to set up a certificate you need some environment variables that will not get defined automatically in your worksheet but I have a way around that. If there's interest I'll document and post it. Some of the stuff is here:

Hi Doug -

That's a nice intercept idea you have. I can probably help out with the bash stuff whenever you'd like (other than this week). Since I'm working with about a dozen files on this particular server, I was after some kind of external browser, but this might do if our admins don't come through. I can use some scp aliases from the command line for the next couple of days until I get the immediate task taken care of.
