Question 3: Does BBEdit have commands or plugin to do the
following kinds of conversions:
(a) All line breaks from CR or CRLF to LF.
See line breaks pop-up menu, bottom of window at the right side.
(b) MacRoman to ISO Latin 1 and the reverse.
See text encodings pop-up menu, to the left of the line breaks pop-up menu.
(c) HTML entities (like ä for รค) to Mac Roman, to ISO
Latin 1, and the reverse.
See Markup -> Utilities -> Translate
(d) Can I define macros, saying that with one single
command I want to both translate
8-bit chracters to HTML entities and CR or CRLF to LF.
See File -> New -> New Text Factory and take it from there.
