In fact, I can answer to myself. I don't know what Unicode means in
this context (what kind of line break Unicode is) but in effect that
was the problem. I changed it to Unix LF, saved the file, uploaded it
again and it worked. Changed it again to Unicode, saved and uploaded
and doesnt work.

I tried unchecking the option "Use Unicode line breaks" and now the
bottom of the windows says Unix LF in new files.

So now the questions are: in general (not for this particular case but
in general), how will I be better off? (with Unix LF or with Unicode).
Could I have problems with non-ASCII characters if I uncheck this
option?

Check what somebody says about this: "the
Unicode breaks are probably among the least likely to be recognized by
code that doesn't recognize all of the types, so you probably shouldn't
use them unless you have some compelling reason for doing so."

But I still don't know what Unicode breaks are useful for.

The BBedit manual is not very verbose on this aspect.

Thanks, Manuel
