Have you tried an AppleScript to change the line ending characters in the clipboard contents?

First, I do not want to further complicate my workflow by adding handcrafted minitools etc. After some time you tend to forget they exist and then wonder where some unwanted behaviour comes from.

By checking which language module is in use, you can limit the use of this script to scheme only. That should limit the impact of such a script to where you need it.

Second, the cut or better copied text goes into the cut&paste buffer of the X11 environment since it will be pasted into the X11 GUI of a unix app.(middle mouse button you know...)

How do you handle that? I thought the copy buffer from the OS X side was synchronized to the middle button anyway.

It worked in pre 8.something versions of BBedit I remember. And really I want that behaviour back!!! But if I'm the only one having that problem...?

propabably not, but did you file a report at support for this?
