Related, I saw that there is a way to use a different dictionary for
the default. I primarily use BBEdit to write in LaTeX and so want to
use, I think, the following:
defaults write com.barebones.bbedit Spelling:UseExcalibur -bool YES
I guess that I'm supposed to enter this in the command line, but how
do I do that? In BBEdit Preferences, I've selected Install Command
Line Tool and BBEdit tells me that it is installed. When I enter the
above line in a blank document and try to Run, or Run in Terminal,
nothing happens. When I open Terminal and paste this command into the
prompt and hit Return, I get another prompt, but BBEdit shows the
same dictionary.
How do I run the Command Line?
Also, how do I turn off the red underlines that appear beneath words
following spell-checking and those words are skipped? "Check Spelling
as You Type" is not checked, but I don't want the red underlines shown.
