Hi,
I need the comment symbol to be "#" for my strings files. I had this
working in BBEdit preferences, so that a # was placed at the start of
lines selected when I used the Text menu to comment/uncomment.
However, then I went back into the preferences to select a shortcut
for comment/uncomment, and selected the keystrokes control-c for this
purpose. I closed the preferences, and from that moment on, the
comment symbol inserted became ">". I cannot get it to change back to
"#". I have deleted the shortcut, but still get the wrong comment
symbol at the start of each commented line.
1. I MUST be able set the strings file comment to # or BBEdit will be
useless to me.
2. I really want a keyboard shortcut for commenting if possible.
Thanks in advance,
Frieda
