Hahahah. Tee Hee Hee. No really, that might have been true 100 years
ago, but it is certainly not true now. Discarding for the moment
that L' Académie doesn't consider, for example, Canadian French to be
"French", the world's #1 language is English, by far, which at the
last estimate I saw, was spoken to some functional degree by 3
billion people.
and if you believe that then working in French rather than English
or Spanish should have no adverse effect on your income.
