I would just say "move to next placeholder" since that's what is
really happening and avoids confusion.
My muscle memory has trouble with the "next placeholder" key
shortcut. Years later I still sometimes hit tab, which of course
doesn't work. I got all excited when I thought you had worked
out a way to do that. Oh well.
