After some playing around with this I have a question...

What do I do with the semicolon placeholder if I want a semicolon? Is there a way to pass on it and just accept the semicolon? If I move to the next placeholder it just sits there wrapped in its placeholdery bits :-)

Also, if I don't like the syntax formatting of the items can I modify this easily or do I have to change every single clipping item? (I.e. remove all the extraneous spaces around parenthesis and parameters.)

All great questions...

semicolon holder: go to it with your placeholder shortcut, and type a semi-colon... It seems kind of stupid, but I wanted to give developers an easy way to get to the end of the function and I tried to make it something somewhat intuitive. If you don't want the semi- colon, just hit delete when it's selected.

The formatting, unfortunately, is not so easy to change. It is based on formatting I learned over the years that promotes the use of white space to make code more legible. I know a lot of people might not like it, though, so I'm open to suggestions. I considered making the formatting an option when downloading the set: what kind of "style" do you want? But then it just turned into so much more work, well, I decided to make the source code available instead...

That said, we _do_ offer custom development services....

You might also try multi-file search and replace on the clipping set using some fancy grep to remove the white space...

Hope that helps.
