Hi all,

I searched back through the archives but only found one unanswered message that was on a related but different issue with Spaces.

I have BBEdit set to Space #8. However, when I open documents from the finder or another application, BBEdit uses the space with which I opened the documents rather than #8. For example, if I hit Edit from Interarchy while in space #5, the documents open in BBEdit in space #5. It should open in space #8, no?

Additionally, when I switch to another app and back, the only thing that remains in BBEdit in space #5 is the Documents Drawer. If I switch to space #8, I see the opened file. Having the documents drawer in one space and the documents in a different space makes things difficult, as you can imagine.

Spaces as a whole don't work as I would expect them to. I'm guessing these might be bugs with OS X rather than BBEdit. I do not know who's job it is to make sure apps work properly with spaces.

Is BB aware of the issues... any fix on its way?

Thanks,
Forrest
