Hi there. Did you ever figure out a way to preserve the window size and position? I've enjoyed this feature of BBEdit from version 8.7 but now in version 9.0 and higher, the feature no longer works the way it should. It used to be that you selected "Save Default Window" in the menu bar and in version 8.7 BBEdit would open up new text documents exactly where you wanted them to be, and in the right size. Now, there is another default state that version 9 always goes to. It's annoying and I won't update my BBEdit until they fix the problem. Cheers.
