It is possible to turn off anti-aliasing on a per application basis, but I don't know if it's possible to do that with BBEdit. With the update to 9.1, I switched to Consolas from Osaka Mono in BBEdit and also decided to do it in Terminal.app. In Terminal.app, there's a preference checkbox that says "Antialias Text" that I now have checked because Consolas looked awful with it unchecked. In BBEdit, I'm currently using Consolas as is, but reduced from 16 point to 14 point compared to Osaka Mono.
