That is solved by just doing save periodically (and when you do the final save, manually delete the intermediate back-ups that were triggered by the saves leaving the original back-up of your initial state and the final updated copy). There is also the option of asking for a new feature that does a periodic back-up to your Hard Drive like is done with a wordprocessor.
