That's close. :-) Choosing "Don't Zap" does let you adjust settings for the command without immediately applying it. You can then subsequently hold down Option and choose Zap Gremlins to bypass the sheet and directly apply the command with its current settings. (Pull down the Text menu, then press Option and you'll see the command name change.) Most of the Text menu commands offer a similar shortcut.
