This is precisely the point that some of us have been making.
Not everyone can afford the latest and the greatest machines.
There is a widespread, erroneous assumption -- and not just
on this list -- that everyone can just run out and purchase
the newest Mac when it becomes available. I'm sure that Steve
Jobs would love that, but that is most certainly not the case
with many people out here. I happen to be one of them. It
took me years to save up enough money to buy a new iMac. I
don't run a business, and neither do I make big bucks. All I
asked for was a little more sensitivity, because I know that
if such statements irk me, they probably irk other Mac users
as well who can't afford the newer Macs.
