Ahhh - that would explain it! In a nutshell, I want to be able to search for files using a specific search algorithm. I am working with a plugin that uses a customURL, so if I could get BBEdit to send a url in the form 'customURL:///Path/to/ file' then the plugin would search for the files and then ask BBEdit to open the file or files selected.
