When I open a folder with BBedit to create an autoproject based on the folder, or add a folder to a BBedit project, the project pane shows all contents except for Finder aliases and symbolic links (in my case, almost always pointing to folders). That's inconvenient. Is there some way to tell it to include the Finder aliases and symbolic links? If not, are there any plans to add such a capability? In my world, those things are critical parts of the layout of projects, and it's very frustrating that I can't see them in the project panel.
Greg Shenaut PS I originally misstated this problem as occurring only with symbolic links; in fact, the links in question can be either symbolic links OR Finder aliases. I also mentioned autoprojects only; however, the problem occurs with every BBedit project containing folders.
