coloring?

appendix D of the user manual, but I must confess,
I do not understand how it works.
So again, is there a way for me to color specific text
in my php files, and if so, is there a tutorial for stupid
people (like me) that I can access.
I'm guessing there is a way to do it but if not,
I guess I will have to make a feature request.
