I'm inclined to agree with this.
I don't like being unable to show/hide the 'Currently Open Documents' panel in
a text window.
I don't like not being able to move the keyboard focus into the panel and
type-select amongst the documents.

Again. I agree. Yep. I really dislike this.
I often want to toggle between the two last used documents, but I don't like
the seeming randomness of "order-by-last-used". It always ends up biting me
somewhere along the line.
It seems like it wouldn't be hard to add a keyboard shortcut so that both
options were available.
