Speaking as a businessman, Apple makes my choice quite simple here: first they have you remove nice functionality from the MAS version of BBEdit, then they price the US$ at 1:1 to the Swiss Franc, so BBEdit actually costs me US$ 48.63 if I buy with Apple.
