I don't know what fields are missing so can't comment on that.
But you can make them whatever size works best for you.
BTW, saying "completely useless" is a completely useless
comment. Tell us why it's not as useful for you and someone may
give you suggestions to make them more useful. I personally find
the new Find dialogs to be a *huge* improvement.
