understand not wanting to maintain two separate bits of code to deal
with the find dialog, but I'm wondering what instigated the move away
from the modal find dial in the first place. What problem were you
trying to solve?
It was a long time ago :-) but at the time the primary reasons
were complexity and customer feedback.
