The manual is really very good and the more that is read the better.

Many people these days are in the habit of not reading instructions or manuals 
but in fact I think this is a very inefficient way of going about things.

The BBEdit manual is 378 pages, but I think that it is well laid out and so you 
only need to read the bits that matter to you. Then as your used of BBEdit 
grows you can read the other stuff when it becomes relevant.
