I tried to install the 10.0.1 update 4 times using the "Check for Updates..." menu item. The update has simply "unexpectedly quit" three times. One time it got as far as "extracting update", but froze there and I had to force quit. I did send three crash reports to Bare Bones.
I eventually just downloaded the complete application.
