Try a Text Filter instead, which will work on the selection or onthe
whole text of a doc -- and lacks verbosity, of course:
#!/usr/bin/perl
use Text::Wrap; $Text::Wrap::columns = 70;
print Text::Wrap::fill( '', '', join '', <> );
