But then, BBEdit is not just another text editor, is it. If it was, we wouldn't all be using BBEdit to begin with. ;-) I am sure the guys at Barebones could come up with a clever solution, if they wanted to ... if they thought that variable tab spacing was a popular request. Those guys are pretty smart! And if feature request include some kind of solution ideas, that probably won't hurt either.
