It's due to the new retina display and the renderer that BBEdit uses which is, as I understand it, already deprecated as of 10.7 and will not be in "a future OS" *at all*. It's logical to assume that the features of the special Lion version on the retina MBP will be moving to 10.8 (or more I key that the special version actually includes some existing Mnt Lion code). Here's the one thing I am sure of, BBEdit will continue to be updated and will work. That doesn't mean it will be ready on day one for the bleeding edge set, but it will be ready, and probably pretty soon. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "BBEdit Talk" discussion group on Google Groups.
